Reader Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 stars)
Very little gets me more pumped for Halloween than Allen’s thrilling collections of (wholesome) horror short stories for children.
I’ve got to admit, I’m a massive scaredy-cat when it comes to anything remotely scary (You want to take me to a haunted house? You’re going to have to kill me), but I loved these stories. They set my teeth on edge and filled me with the perfect amount of eerie wonder. I highly recommend Allen’s work to anyone looking for family-friendly scary stories to tell in the dark. Plus, the cover glows in the dark.
