This book had been on my To-Be-Read (TBR) list for ages, so I knew I had to read it the first opportunity I had. I’m so glad I did. This book is a remarkably meaningful story about why life is worth living. I loved every second of it!
Language: 4/10 (Frequent swearing).
Sex: 8/10 (Implied and non-detailed depictions or mentions of sex).
Violence and gore: 10/10 (No violence or gore).
Plot: 9/10 (Such a beautifully artistic way to depict the beauty in life’s potential despite moments of bleakness. Absolutely gorgeous).
Characters: 9/10 (Nora was so relatable and realistic! I loved feeling like her companion through her journey).
Writing style: 9/10 (Despite all the swearing, I thought it was beautiful and fantastically written).
Genre: Young adult literature, new adult literature, adult literature, realistic fiction, fantasy
Potential triggers: Attempted suicide, suicidal ideation, etc.
Is this book part of a series? No.
I would recommend this book to anyone 16-18+ with a high tolerance for foul language.
