Praiseworthy Pages

This book had been on my TBR for ages, so when I saw it on display at my local library, I knew I couldn’t miss my chance. The language and sexual content was off-putting, but I’m glad I stuck with it, because dang, it turned out to be so different than expected! If you like books that keep you on your toes, this one should probably have a space on your to-be-read list.  

Language: 3/10 (Swearing often).
Sex: 4/10 (Regular references to sexual experiences).
Violence and gore: 4/10 (Occasional depictions of disturbing gore).

Plot: 9/10 (The ending had me shook! And the plot keeps you needing more and more as time goes on!)
Characters: 9/10 (Deep and complex characters with relatable motives and complicated morals).
Writing style: 7/10 (Not a huge fan of all the swearing, and at the beginning, the parts in Theo’s perspective were a bit dull, but by the end, I was hooked!)

Genre: Adult literature, mystery
Potential triggers: Abuse, child abuse, drugs, alcoholism, murder, stalking, etc.
Is this book part of a series? No.
I would recommend this book to those 18+ with a high tolerance for foul language.
