I won this novel in a Penguin USA giveaway, and I was so excited to read it because everyone seemed to be talking about it. After reading it, I can see why. I could not stop reading this book! I carried it around with me until I’d finished it, and even after, for a while, because it doesn’t leave you. It’s amazing. 10/10 would recommend! 

Language: 4/10 (Frequent swearing).
Sex: 8/10 (Vague references to sex).
Violence and gore: 9/10 (Minimal violence and gore).

Plot: 10/10 (From the second I read the blurb on the inside cover, I was hooked. You will not want to put this book down! I literally had it out at the dinner table).
Characters: 10/10 (There is absolutely no other character like Evie Porter. Or Ryan Summer, for that matter. I’m obsessed!)
Writing style: 10/10 (What can I say? Elston’s got me head over heels).

Genre: Adult literature, NA literature, realistic fiction, mystery
Potential triggers: Loss of loved ones, breast cancer, murder, attempted murder, etc.
Is this book part of a series? No.
I would recommend this book to anyone 18+.
