“Yes Please” by Amy Poehler

Woman sitting on floor under neon sign

Reader Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 stars)

I’ve always thought Amy Poehler to be an absolutely hilarious actress, but I guess I hadn’t realized that she could be just as funny in conversation as she is on screen. This book definitely captures her natural funny personality, and though it does swear and reference sex a lot, I did enjoy getting to see the world through her eyes. It helps that there were quite a few laughs along the way.

Sex: 4/10 (Crude).
Violence and gore: 9/10 (Minimal violence and gore).
