When I read murder mysteries, I’m guilty of trying to figure out whodunnit before the main character does, and let me tell you, this book kept me in the dark until the very last second, which I loved! I devoured this book from start to finish! It’s definitely a must-read for true crime and/or mystery aficionados everywhere.

Language: 4/10 (Frequent swearing).
Sex: 4/10 (Multiple references to sex with some graphic detail).
Violence and gore: 4/10 (Regular mentions of violence and gore, bordering on disturbing).

Plot: 10/10 (A masterfully crafted mystery that kept me guessing from start to finish).
Characters: 7/10 (Cliché, but the clichés were used remarkably well).
Writing style: 10/10 (Beautiful use of imagery, color, and movement. I would absolutely read more from this author in the future).

Genre: Adult literature, realistic fiction, murder mystery
Potential triggers: Murder, domestic violence, child abuse, abortion, etc.
Is this book part of a series? No.
I would recommend this to readers 18+.
